There was something for everyone once again at this year's annual FinhamFest rewards event at Finham Park School. A virtual Reality arena, Escape Room, Code breaking, boxing ring, roller disco, painting workshops, football darts, wheelchair basketball, glitter tattooing, sumo wrestling, zorbing arenas, fun house, festival pizza van, ice cream van, candy floss machine, dodgems, inflatables... oh and the usual high octane, adrenaline rides.
Students from all year groups are taking part in Finham Park School's annual Sports Day (a.k.a. The Festival of Sports). Sports range from table tennis to long jump, from chess to tugs of war and from javelin to basketball. There is truly something for everyone here (even a climbing wall and drum kit to cheer your team on) with students supporting each other as they compete to win the Sports Day Cup for their respective College.
Thanks to the tireless PE staff who organise and set up the day (under the direction of Mr Amos), the day is a regular fixture in Finham Park School's calendar.
Over 100 students from across all 8 Finham Park MAT schools attended an inaugural Leadership Showcase event on Monday 8 July 2024. They worked in teams of students with ages ranging from 10 to 18. The projects they worked on celebrated the core values of the Multi Academy Trust.

This week, Finham Park students have passed the milestone of 200 fixtures during the course of this year. They did it in style by Years 9 and 10 winning their cricket finals.
23 sports will engage 1,200 pupils next Tuesday (9th July 2024) in our most inclusive ever sports day. Sports include not only track and field events but also Chess, Rock Climbing, Rounders, Tennis, Table Tennis, Tug of War, Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee and Duathalon.
Finham Park School pupils have raised over £600 during our annual Uganda quiz night!
100% of the money raised will go to purchasing resources for primary schools we support in Uganda. The money will be spent by Ugandan teachers when students get there in October 2024 on their African immersion trip.
Thank you to all our supporters who came to the evening. It was a great event and highlighted the importance of supporting and educating young people all over the world.
1,000+ pupils at Finham Park School performed 'The Finham Rainstorm' during assemblies this week.
In the closing weeks of the summer term, students have the opportunity to purchase wristband tickets for FinahmFest24 until 29 June 2024. Wristbands have been delivered, and final preparations are underway to make this year's rewards festival ... the best ever.
