MAT Dance Festival Celebrates Creativity and Confidence

This term, we were delighted to host our Academy Dance Day at Finham Park School, bringing together 60 enthusiastic dancers from Finham Park, FP2 and Meadow Park School for a day of creativity, collaboration and performance.

 

Students took part in workshops across four exciting dance styles – contemporary, commercial, jazz and musical theatre – led by our talented instructors: sixth form students Katie and Chloe (Finham Park), Miss Pepper (FP2), Mrs Boulton (FP2) and Miss Levack (Finham Park).

 

Throughout the day, students embraced new challenges, developed their dance skills and, most importantly, grew in confidence. It was fantastic to see dancers of all ages supporting one another, stepping outside their comfort zones and celebrating creativity through movement. The event showcased the power of dance to inspire teamwork, self-expression and enjoyment, making it a truly memorable day for everyone involved.
