Finham Park MAT Dance Festival Brings Students Together in Celebration of Dance
Thursday 11 July 2025 will be remembered as a day of energy, creativity and collaboration as students from across the Finham Multi-Academy Trust came together for the annual Dance Festival, hosted at Finham Park School.
Pupils from the four secondary schools within the Trust united to take part in a packed day of workshops, showcasing a variety of dance styles including contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and commercial dance. The event gave students the chance to step out of their comfort zones, try something new, and work alongside peers from other schools who share their passion for performance.
Throughout the day, students embraced the challenge of learning new choreography, demonstrating teamwork, dedication and resilience... especially in the soaring summer temperatures.
There was a fantastic atmosphere as dancers and staff alike threw themselves into the sessions with enthusiasm. The day culminated in group performances where students showcased what they had learned, leaving everyone inspired by the talent and commitment on display.

The Dance Festival is this latest celebration of movement and collaboration and has set the bar even higher for the future.
