Anthology of spoken and written, literary and non-literary texts.
Comparing unseen texts.
Module 2: Themes in Language and Literature (Coursework)
Exploration of similarities and differences between two passages from set texts
Creative piece one of the texts or both texts

A2: Module 3: Talk in Life and Literature
Set drama text
Comparison of speech represented in literary extracts and transcripts of real-life talk.
Module 4: Text Transformation (Coursework)
Rewriting two literary texts in different genres, plus commentaries.

Entry Requirements

You should have a range of GCSEs A-C at GCSE with A or B in English Literature. You must also enjoy reading a range of literature. If you like discussing and sharing ideas, analysing and interpreting texts, exploring new worlds and concepts, English Literature is for you.
